Founded in September 2008, Mingpeng Paper is a high-tech enterprise devoted to the development and production of corrugated board and related paper products. A decade of steady work by our first generation of Mingpeng people has given us a domestic-leading automated production line and standardised every key process: capacity of 20 to 30 million square metres, technical indicators at the front of the industry — no degradation of raw-material physical properties, flatness 50% better than the national standard, full automatic control across production, and energy consumption 20% below our peers.

Looking back on forty years of reform and opening up, China's economy has grown enormously and the goods people use every day have multiplied. Packaging has been like a pair of warm hands, making sure that countless products reach ordinary households safely. Recycling, convenience, clean water and green mountains — development living side by side with ecology — that is Mingpeng's mission and our social value.

What Mingpeng has achieved is inseparable from the mission and the people values we stand for. Our vision is to become a benchmark enterprise in China's corrugated container industry and, from there, to take our place among the best paper-product companies in China and in the world. Our view of talent is "strivers first, customers at the centre". Our efforts must never drift from the main line of creating value for customers, and our distribution principles must always favour those who strive, so that colleagues who make an outstanding contribution gain more.

In paper, raw material is the single largest cost, so using every inch of paper to the full and driving the physical properties of every sheet towards zero degradation — minimising waste — is a goal we pursue without end. At the same time, lean production and intelligent equipment are our winning formula for focusing on quality and pursuing excellence. That asks every colleague to master the production process and to be able to use and manage intelligent equipment, so that processes become standardised, our people become elite and our equipment becomes smart.

As the company grows, some systems and management practices may still fall short. We ask every colleague for patience and understanding, and for your better ideas and methods to be passed on to the people who make decisions here. We will keep correcting and refining them.

A company's development depends on high-calibre people, and we firmly believe that the new wave always surpasses the old, and that the student can outshine the teacher. We are willing to develop young people, and our middle and senior managers will be selected from within first.
